- Whenever you can, walk instead of driving.
- Take the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator.
- Go for a half-hour walk instead of watching TV.
- Get off the bus a stop early and walk.
- Go up hills instead of around them.
- Do yard work (and get your children to rake, weed, or plant!).
- Work around the house.
- Garden or make home repairs
- Wash the car by hand.
- Find a buddy and join an exercise group.
- Cut back on sitting time by turning off the TV or computer.
- If you have to watch TV, do sit-ups. Have a sit-up competition with a buddy
- Follow an Argus Workout Plan.
